A diploma thesis of the HTL3 Rennweg

The Idea

Almost every racing cyclist who has used click pedals before knows the problem: When stopping every time, you almost fall because the release requires too much force and simply does not want to open. With the idea that the pedals themselves recognize when the shoe should come off the pedal, this problem no longer exists.

The implementation

Making the pedal as light as possible and developing a mechanism that is as space-saving and safe as possible was our top priority! The app that comes with it should be simple, intuitive and useful. You can read the speed and operate the pedal light.

The Product
